Until now, Himalayan Distillery (HDL) was the only listed liquor company in the stock market, but now the second liquor company, Sagar Distillery, has also been added. Sagar (SAGAR) was listed on NEPSE on Kartik 20 with 7,260,000 shares.  

Out of the total 7,260,000 shares listed on NEPSE, 1,452,000 shares were issued to the general public and 5,808,000 shares were invested by the founding shareholders.  

For the first trading session, NEPSE has provided the company with an opening range from NPR 106.52 to NPR 319.56. Based on this range, the shares will be traded in a special pre-open session on the coming Sunday, after which they will start regular trading in the secondary market.
